The National Safety Council awarded WRScompass the 2010 Occupational Excellence Achievement Award, marking the seventh consecutive year we have received the honor. The award is granted to member companies with Lost Time Case Rates (LTCR) lower than half the average rate of employers in the same North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code.

In 2004, the National Safety Council awarded WRScompass its Industry Leader Award for achieving the best safety performance in its category.  The award is made to the member organization posting the lowest lost time case rate in its category.


USACE Safety Pays Award Jacksonville DistrictUS Army Corps of Engineers – Jacksonville District

The Jacksonville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers has recognized WRScompass project teams on three separate occasions in 2009, 2010, and 2011.  The awards were made for the execution of work at the Kissimmee River Restoration Site and Canal 37 projects without a lost time case.

Award of Superior Achievement

The Florida Transportation Builder's Association (FTBA) recognized WRScompass' 2010 Accident Prevention Performance in the State of Florida with its 2011 Award of Superior Achievement. The award is made to member organizations who have worked in excess of 250,000 hours without a lost time case in the State of Florida. This is the ninth year in a row FTBA has recognized WRScompass' performance with this award. 

Georgia Department of Labor, Award of Excellence

The Georgia Department of Labor honored WRScompass with its Award of Excellence for 2010.  This is WRScompass' sixth time to be selected for this award which is given to employers who have completed 250 workdays without a lost time case.  

British Petroleum/Atlantic Richfield Company's (BP/ARCO), Diamond Safety Award

WRScompass received this award based on our safe project work practices in the demolition of the former Anaconda Wire and Cable Plant site in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.  We completed this project, which was highly visible to the community, without any complaints and received a commendation from the nearest public business for our community-friendly work.  Our superior performance earned WRScompass BP/ARCO's Diamond Safety Award for our safe work practices, creativity in developing safe work practices, and completing the project with no safety incidents.
