The Sanford Gasification Plant Superfund Site was a former Manufactured Gasification Plant (MGP) that operated from the 1880's until the 1950's. The project included concurrent operation of two drill rigs at varying depths and stabilization of more than 142,000 cubic yards of soil as well as the diversion and rehabilitation of more than 2,300 feet of creek bed.
